THE ROLE OF A FUNERAL DIRECTOR
WE WILL GUIDE YOU THROUGH THE ENTIRE PROCESS OF ARRANGING A FUNERAL AND HELP YOU MAKE ALL THE BIG AND SMALL DECISIONS.
When you engage our services, we begin by arranging all the initial details, including transferring your relative or friend into our care, collection of medical certificates, mortuary care, preparing and arranging a viewing (if requested), consulting with the clergy/celebrant, booking of venues/churches and liaising with the cemetery or crematorium.
After the funeral, we will register the death, liaise with the venue and other suppliers to pay invoices, complete administration, answer questions and any other requirements.
We will work with you to make sure the service is a fitting reflection of the person who died. We will help you incorporate their passions, interests and hobbies into a meaningful ceremony. The use of music, video recordings, flowers and printed items such as memorial books, mass booklets and prayer cards can be wonderful tools to personalise the service.
A wake or memorial service is another aspect to consider when arranging a funeral. We can also assist you with choosing a venue and organising catering, whether it be in one of our Chapels, a Church, a sporting club, a winery, a restaurant or another location that is meaningful to you.
However you decide to honour the life of your relative or friend, we are here to help guide you every step of the way.
