“Our family would like to thank all the Kings’ staff for their help in preparing for our Mum’s
funeral service, and assisting on the day itself.

Emma was warm and sensitive but also professional and well organised .

She also showed considerable empathy and understanding in the way she guided our family through a difficult time.

She explained the steps involved in arranging the service, gave us helpful suggestions regarding our choice of chapel and celebrant, and made it easy for us to complete other necessary tasks.

Emma also helped us to choose a venue for a gathering after the service when the family was finding it difficult to decide on the best one for our needs.

On the day itself, the Kings’ staff went about their tasks quietly and professionally and helped our family create a beautiful service and a fitting farewell for our dear Mum.

To see a woman driving the hearse plus a woman talking to the family and friends was something I had never seen. Every single funeral I have been to has been male dominant. If there was a woman as part of the funeral team they were in the background never heard and certainly not driving the hearse!
