Kings Funerals is a local funeral company based in Geelong with 70 years of experience supporting families through loss. As a third-generation, family-owned
funeral home, we’ve walked alongside thousands of people during some of life’s most challenging times.

We serve communities across Geelong, the Surf Coast, Bellarine Peninsula and Golden Plains — offering care that’s both thoughtful and grounded. Every life is different, and we take the time to listen and guide each family toward a farewell that truly reflects their person.

The grieving process isn’t linear, and it’s never the same for everyone. Our role is to provide gentle support, guidance and practical care, whether you need help planning ahead or navigating a recent loss.

OUR STORY

Kings Funerals began in 1955, when Max and Madge King opened their doors in Geelong. Their drive to serve came from a simple belief in helping others, especially the many migrant families who were making a new life in the area.

Their son Michael King, and his wife Louise King, carried this commitment forward, and today, their legacy lives on through a team that remains deeply connected to the community.

Listening is central to everything we do. We take care to understand what made a person who they were and shape the funeral around that. Every service is an opportunity to honour a life and offer families a starting point for healing.
