Kings Funerals is a third-generation family funeral home that has provided compassionate and meaningful funerals for families in Greater Geelong, Surf Coast, and Golden Plains regions for over 65 years. We pride ourselves on our ability to listen to the needs of each individual and create a funeral that celebrates a life lived. We understand that the grieving process is different for everyone, and we are here to support you every step of the way. Our goal is to provide you with the highest quality service possible and continually strive to improve how we serve our community. We are honoured to be able to help families in their time of need.

OUR STORY

The hard work and dedication of Michael King’s father and King’s Funerals founder, Max King, and his mother, lay the foundation of the values we continue to align with today.  They were always willing to help people in the community, and they started by supporting migrants in Geelong back in the 1950s.

From the beginning, the vision for Kings Funerals was to be Australia’s leading funeral firm. The best way for us to achieve this is to provide the most meaningful funeral possible for the families we serve. It’s about really listening to what was unique about the person who’s died and being able to give them the gift of a funeral that meets their needs as a starting point for the grieving process. From our perspective, it’s essential to constantly give back support and recognise that everybody responds to grief in different ways.

The legacy that Michael King’s parents passed on through two generations is upholding respect and trust in the community. Kings Funerals earn this by being transparent and open in pricing and our process. “We allow people choices, don’t rush them, and always look for innovations that add value. Our role is that of a confidant in a family’s time of need,” explains Beth.
